Kayak rentals are the simplest way to set your own pace in Crystal River. Check in with our local team, launch directly onto the canals, and paddle to Three Sisters Springs in ten minutes without crossing open water.
Choose a single, double, or a triple kayak, or a paddleboard for a flexible day on the water. Clear kayak rentals are available for guests during manatee season.

How long does it take to paddle to Three Sisters Springs?
Ten minutes. Launch from our dock directly onto the canals and follow the sheltered route to Three Sisters Springs without crossing Kings Bay first.
Should I rent a kayak or book a guided tour?
Choose a rental when you want to paddle independently after a route briefing. Choose a tour when you want a local guide managing the route, group pace, current access, and wildlife expectations.
Are clear-bottom kayak rentals available year-round?
No. Clear-bottom rentals are a three-hour manatee-season option. Guests remain in the craft, so choose a regular rental or a guided swim tour when getting into the water matters.
What can someone book if they do not want to paddle?
Choose a captain-led Boat Tour. The River Cruise keeps everyone aboard, while the seasonal Boat Swim adds an in-water guide and swim equipment.
How do current conditions affect Three Sisters Springs access?
Access follows current refuge conditions. When the Crystal River water-temperature reading falls below 62.7°F and managers close the spring run, guided swims continue outside the springs in the surrounding Three Sisters area. Check the Live Conditions before your visit.
